“And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. But the Lord God called to the man and said to him, “Where are you?””
Genesis 3:8-9 ESV
God wasn’t so much asking Adam physically where he was, but spiritually and emotionally.
‘Where are you?’
A question full of emotion and reaction. Even Adam hid ( trying to isolate from God) when he made a mistake. And we wonder where we get that from?
Where are you?
Are you where you think God wants you?
Why not?
What’s keeping you from being or getting you there?
It certainly isn’t God, holding you back.
Maybe the real question is ‘who’ is keeping you from being what God wants you to be?
Answer that question and you have started on the path toward life, more abundantly.
